As a Customer Service Centre Officer, you will be the face and voice of the Council, playing a vital role in fostering strong connections between the organisation and our community. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service across a range of channels, including phone, in-person interactions, email, and online enquiries, ensuring each customer has a positive and seamless experience.
As the first point of contact for the Council, you’ll represent our commitment to excellence, helping to enhance our public image while efficiently resolving queries and providing support. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of the Customer Operations team, ensuring we continue to meet the needs of our diverse community with professionalism and care.
This full-time temporary opportunity offers a competitive salary of $72,704 per year, plus 11.5% superannuation and the benefit of a monthly accrued day off (ADO). Enjoy a consistent schedule, working Monday to Friday, 8:20 am to 5:05 pm.
You are based within our bright, modern and sustainable 311 Glenferrie Road office on the corner of High Street and Glenferrie Road in Malvern where boutique stores, cafes and health clubs are in abundance. From the office you can easily walk to Malvern Gardens, High Street Armadale or Glenferrie Road.
Desired Skills and Experience
To excel in this role, we’re seeking candidates with extensive experience in fast-paced customer service environments, along with exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail in cash handling. You’ll need proven time management abilities and strong computer literacy to navigate daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
