As an Assistant Early Years Educator you will:
Provide a service which promotes high quality Early Education and Care that meets the needs of children and families
Support the Early Years Team to provide programs, environments and interactions, which nurture, stimulate and guide each child’s development.
Actively contribute to the positive and collaborative culture of the City of Stonningtons Early Years’ Service Team.
Create and provide a safe, secure, welcoming and hygienic environment for children to learn and play.
Observe, implement and evaluate play and learning experiences for children in consultation with families and other educators.
Maintain a service that operates within all legislative requirements under the Education and Care Act and Regulations and Child Safety Standards.
This is a permanent full-time position with an annual salary range of $71,998 - $76,229 +12% superannuation.

Desired Skills and Experience
To succeed in this position you will need:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with children, families and staff in a professional manner.
Demonstrated capacity to work in a collaborative team environment and positively contribute to the team.
Ability to gain cooperation and assistance from children, colleagues and families accessing Early Years Services.
Knowledge of quality Kindergarten and Early Years Programs for children aged 0-5
Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2018, Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, and National Quality Framework and Child Safety Standards
Understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles within the working environment.
Satisfactory completion of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including all hours of service operation
