Are you ready to take the lead on managing and enhancing complex enterprise systems? As our new Application Systems Administrator, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping critical applications running smoothly, secure, and aligned with business needs.
From implementing upgrades and optimising performance to troubleshooting issues and driving improvements, this role offers the chance to work across a broad suite of platforms while collaborating with a range of stakeholders and vendors.
In this role you’ll
Implement, maintain and optimise enterprise application systems, ensuring reliability, security, and seamless integration with organisational infrastructure.
Manage access, permissions and upgrades across systems such as TechnologyOne OneCouncil, Microfocus Content Manager, Aurion Payroll and ReadyTech applications.
Monitor system health and performance, identifying bottlenecks and applying strategies to maximise uptime and efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex issues, providing support and resolution in partnership with users, vendors and technical teams.
Develop documentation, contribute to projects, and share knowledge to strengthen team capability and support continuous improvement.
Enjoy a 12-month fixed-term opportunity with a competitive salary of $111,411 – $123,743, plus 12% superannuation and the added perk of a monthly ADO.
Desired Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role
Ability to provide advice and resolve application service issues in line with Council policies and procedures.
Strong decision-making skills, using analysis to identify solutions and provide guidance to internal teams.
Experience in business application and database systems, with a focus on identifying problems and defining improvement opportunities.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience, including SQL database administration.
Experience working with application platforms such as ERP, CRM, and cloud-based systems, and the ability to complete a satisfactory Police Check.
