As a Casual Library Officer, you'll focus on delivering excellent customer service through tasks such as:
Assisting customers with self-service equipment, responding to basic reader advisory queries, managing cash handling, and addressing enquiries about technology and eLibrary products
Shelving, shelf reading, tidying, and supporting opening and closing routines
Helping with activities and programs within the library
We have 4x casual roles available, offering an hourly rate range of $39.55 - $41.88 (plus 25% casual loading), plus 12% superannuation.
You'll have the opportunity to work across our library network in some of the most vibrant and well-loved locations throughout Stonnington, including Malvern, Malvern East, Prahran, and South Yarra. Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll need to thrive in this role:
Currently studying or recently completed a Diploma of Library Studies or a similar qualification
Experience in a customer-focused role, with library experience being highly desirable
A passion for modern public libraries and a clear understanding of their importance in the community
Strong communication and computer skills
