We’re seeking a People, Culture & Safety Officer to play a key role in supporting the delivery of essential P&C services across Council. This is a varied and hands on position where you’ll be trusted with important processes, systems and employee lifecycle administration that directly impact the employee experience.

In this role you’ll
Coordinate key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employment documentation and offboarding processes
Maintain accurate and compliant employee records across HR systems, ensuring data integrity and strong governance practices
Support the smooth running of the P&C inbox, triaging enquiries and delivering responsive, customer-focused service
Process administrative and purchasing requirements across the team with accuracy and efficiency
Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance how the People, Culture & Safety team operates
This role offers a salary range of $76,864 – $81,334 + 12% super, along with the added benefit of a monthly ADO, providing both financial stability and additional flexibility.
Desired Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role
Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support within a busy, service-focused environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing employee documentation, systems and data integrity
Confidence working across HR systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and adapt to changing processes
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries in a timely and customer-focused manner
The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative and operating autonomously when required
