Job Description

Do you enjoy supporting people and making a meaningful impact in your community? We’re looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our Customer Service team in a part-time permanent capacity.

As a Customer Service Centre Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents connecting with Council - whether in person, by phone, via email or online. In this role, you’ll provide a professional, responsive and positive experience, helping people navigate services and access the support they need.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Bring experience working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
  • Can manage competing priorities while staying calm, organised and focused
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully and with empathy across diverse audiences
  • Handle financial transactions with accuracy and professionalism
  • Have strong time management skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach

Available positions:

  • 1 role - 2 days per week
  • 1 role - 3 days per week

Additional days may be available to support leave cover and business needs.

Salary: $76,864 – $81,334 + 12% super, plus a monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO).
