Job Description

Support our Maternal and Child Health team by providing customer service and administration that helps deliver vital services to Stonnington families.

We’re looking for an organised and community-minded team member to join our Maternal and Child Health and Supported Playgroup team. This role plays an important part in ensuring families across Stonnington can easily access essential services and information.

You’ll work closely with nurses, coordinators and internal teams to keep appointments running smoothly, respond to community enquiries, and provide administrative support that helps our services run effectively.

In this role you’ll:

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to families, residents and stakeholders across phone, email and in person
• Support day-to-day administration for Maternal and Child Health and Supported Playgroup services
• Coordinate appointments, scheduling and system updates to help ensure services run smoothly
• Assist with meeting coordination, room bookings and general team administration
• Help maintain accurate records and support operational processes across the service

15.12 hours per week, Workdays Monday and Tuesday

Offering a salary of $72,000 – $78,000 + 12% super (Pro rata), this role provides the opportunity to support services that make a real difference for families across our community.

To thrive in this role

• Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative or business support in a busy service environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with the confidence to respond to enquiries from residents, families and internal stakeholders in a professional, helpful and solutions-focused manner
• Well-developed organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage appointments, schedules and documentation while keeping processes running smoothly
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel, with the confidence to learn new systems and technology used to support service delivery
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment supporting community services
