You’ll take the lead on enterprise agreement negotiations end‑to‑end, manage complex employee relations and performance matters, and have the authority and space to make sound, well‑reasoned calls that support both leaders and the organisation’s priorities.
In this role you’ll
Build genuine, trusted partnerships with senior leaders, becoming a key point of contact for complex people matters across your portfolio.
Provide clear, grounded advice that helps leaders navigate risk, make decisions and move forward with confidence.
Lead enterprise agreement negotiations, shaping strategy, handling discussions and managing stakeholder dynamics end-to-end
Manage sensitive and complex ER matters, including investigations and performance matters, with a balanced and considered approach.
Support leaders through organisational change, restructures and workforce planning activities, ensuring both compliance and practicality.
Identify emerging workforce risks and trends, using insight to proactively guide leaders and influence outcomes.
Lift leadership capability by coaching through real time challenges rather than relying on policy driven responses.
Contribute to broader People, Culture & Safety priorities, helping strengthen consistency, capability and overall organisational performance.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a salary range of $111,411 – $123,743 plus 12% super, a monthly ADO, flexible hybrid working and a strong wellbeing offering.
Desired Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role
Proven experience operating in a Business Partnering or senior HR role within a complex environment.
Ability to quickly establish credibility and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
Strong depth in employee relations, with confidence managing case work, investigations and performance matters end-to-end.
Experience leading or taking ownership of enterprise agreement negotiations within an industrial environment.
Sound judgement, with a calm and practical approach to navigating uncertainty and sensitive situations.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities without losing momentum and ensuring stakeholder management.
Clear and confident communication style, with the ability to influence and guide decision-making.
