Job Description

We are looking for passionate and committed Duty Supervisors to join our enthusiastic leadership team within our Aquatic facilities at Harold Holt Swim Centre which is an exciting, iconic, and fully accessible community facility and Prahran Aquatic Centre in the heart of Prahran.

Casual employment would be a consideration.

The successful candidates will cover numerous Duty Supervisor shifts on a Part time/Casual basis. You will need to be available to work early morning and evening shifts with consistent availability across weekends.

As a Duty Supervisor, you will be responsible for utilising your strong leadership and communication skills to educate the community about how to enjoy aquatic services in a safe environment. 

Responsibilities will include customer service, staff management, lifeguarding, administration, pool plant management and centre maintenance.

The permanent hourly rate is $36.79 per hour + 11.5% superannuation. 

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

•    Pool Lifeguard Award
•    Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
•    Employee Working with Children Check
•    Pool Operations Certificate (Highly Desirable)
•    Previous experience in aquatic environments
•    High level of communication and interpersonal skills
•    A positive and committed attitude
