Job Description

We have multiple permanent part time positions available within our Aquatic Centres including The Harold Holt Swim Centre which is an exciting, iconic, and fully accessible community facility and Prahran Aquatic Centre in the heart of Prahran.

Casual employment would be a consideration.

As a Stonnington Lifeguard, you will be responsible for utilising your strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude to educate our community of all ages how to enjoy Aquatics Services in a safe and fun environment.
Candidates will be available to work a variety of shifts (generally between 4 – 5 hours) and must be available to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

The hourly rate is $33.19 per hour + 11.5% superannuation.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Current Pool Lifeguard Award
  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
  • Employee Working with Children Check
  • Previous experience would be advantageous however, candidates who have relevant qualifications and are looking to commence their career as a Lifeguard are strongly encouraged to apply.
