Job Description

This is an opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys turning ideas into clear, engaging stories and working closely with teams across an organisation to bring initiatives to life.

Joining a collaborative communications team, you’ll act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, shaping how key projects, services and community initiatives are communicated. From strategic planning through to delivery, you’ll play a central role in ensuring information reaches the right audiences in a way that is engaging, accessible and meaningful.

In this role you'll:

• Partner with teams across the organisation to plan and deliver communications that support major initiatives and projects
• Translate complex information into clear, engaging messaging that connects with community audiences
• Produce high-quality written content across multiple channels including web, social media and internal platforms
• Provide communications advice to project teams to help strengthen messaging and audience reach
• Identify storytelling opportunities that showcase initiatives, services and outcomes
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of communication campaigns and digital content initiatives
• Use insights and data to understand audience engagement and refine communication approaches

Band 7 role offering a salary of $111,411 – $123,743 per annum, plus 12% superannuation and a monthly ADO, providing strong earning potential and valuable additional time off.

Desired Skills and Experience

To thrive in this role

• Experience in communications, media, marketing or a related discipline
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across a variety of channels and audiences
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted working relationships
• The ability to take complex or technical information and communicate it clearly and effectively
• Experience contributing to communication plans, campaigns or organisational initiatives
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
